Remembering how to Laugh

A man with a heavy tread
With a somber expression
And a world-weary eyes
What goes on his mind?

Too bitter to smile,
Too weary to laugh.....
Is there anything left in the world
To live for?

Oh, how one forgot to laugh
When one possess the knowledge
Which strips the innocence
As useless naivete

And all of a sudden
Upon the face of a children
He might have found his answer

Full of laughter, they are
Free, unbidden, a beaming smile
Generously given to a weary stranger

As the man walks away
With a tiny smile of his own
And a rejuvenated eye
His face mirrored his thoughts

"Maybe I have to remember
How is it to laugh freely
So that I can remain humane
A little bit longer....."

Yeah that depicts all the adults and sadly enough I 'm already fall into the "adults" category am I not? Hahaha

I like it! As always...a poem about being human after all human even as the most intelligent being, they are also the stupidest. Yet that what makes it interesting to be explored!
